The following guidance and resources have been gathered to assist service providers in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak in Memphis/Shelby County.

 

The City of Memphis is currently vaccinating ALL PERSONS AGE 16+ 

Public COVID-19 vaccination sites are in operation Mondays through Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm.  Appointment sign-up links will now be released on Fridays at noon for appointments for the following week. 

  • Only citizens who meet the eligibility criteria will be vaccinated, and appointments are required.
  • Citizens should not arrive more than an hour before the scheduled appointment time.
  • Citizens who do not have an appointment will be turned away.  

Call the City of Memphis hotline for additional assistance 901-222-7468 (SHOT), hours of operation are 8 am and 4:30 pm. 

The Baptist Operation Outreach mobile health care clinic, a joint partnership between Christ Community Health Services and Baptist Memorial Health Care, at 1325 Jefferson will be accepting appointments for those experiencing homelessness who meet eligible phase criteria. To schedule an appointment at the mobile clinic site please call 901-842-3167 or 901-283-8232. Eligible individuals can text "vaccine" to 91999, and register for an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at a Christ Community Health Services (CCHS) location. CCHS also continues to test individuals daily at the COVID-19 testing site on Lamar at the former Emissions Vehicle Inspection Site. 

If a veteran that is homeless wishes to receive the COVID vaccine they will need to contact their Memphis VA Medical Center primary care physician, or call 1-800-636-8262 and choose option 3.
